Sew Creative Circuits Workshop – Stitch, Spark, and Shine!
Get ready to blend creativity with technology in our Sew Creative Circuits Workshop! In this 2-hour hands-on session, students will explore the basics of electrical circuits and learn how they power the world around us. Then, using conductive thread, batteries, and LEDs, they’ll apply that knowledge to design and sew a light-up bookmark they can take home.
Guided by the Engineering Design Process in a STEM Fair-style format, students will ask questions, imagine solutions, plan, create, and improve their projects—just like real engineers and inventors. This workshop encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and an understanding of how wearable technology works, all in a fun and engaging environment.
