What Ages is Edison Kids at Home best for?
Our program is for kids from 6 – 16 years old. Younger students (6–7) can participate with more parent help, and older teens can move into the coding and engineering challenges independently. Every challenge includes clear video instructions to guide kids at their level.
Do I need to be 'good at STEM' to help my child?
No! Our video lessons walk kids through every step.
Parents don’t need any engineering or coding experience — just help gather supplies and press play. Kids can pause, rewind, and follow along at their own pace.
Are supplies include?
No Edison Kids at Home is a curriculum-only membership. We provide supply lists for every challenge, and most materials are inexpensive and easy to find at home, Amazon, Walmart, or craft stores.
How often are new challenges added?
New challenges are added regularly throughout the year. Your membership automatically includes access to anything new as long as your plan is active.
Can multiple children in my household use one membership?
Yes! One membership covers your entire household. You can use the challenges with all of your kids without paying extra.
Does this include in-person Edison Kids workshops or camps?
No. Edison Kids at Home is separate from our in-person programs.
This membership includes access to the online challenge library only.
What happens if I cancel my membership?
If you cancel, you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
After your plan expires, your access to the challenge videos, printables, and the Skool group will end.
Is Edison Kids at Home Christian or faith-based?
Yes. Edison Kids is unapologetically Christian and faith-based.
Our programs are built on a Biblical worldview, and we intentionally weave in themes like purpose, calling, creativity as a gift from God, and using your talents to serve others. Families of all backgrounds are welcome, but we teach from a Christian perspective.

Why does Edison Kids at Home use Skool as the platform?
You can post questions and photos of your builds inside the Edison Kids at Home community.
We use Skool because it keeps everything your family needs in one simple place.
All video lessons, printables, supply lists, updates, and community conversations are organized in a clean, easy-to-use dashboard. Kids don’t have to dig through emails or different websites—everything is right there when they log in.
Skool also allows us to release new challenges instantly, interact with families safely, and give your kids a positive online space to share their builds and ask questions.
