Over 4 action-packed days\, students will design\, build\, and customize their very own 1-pound plastic antweight combat robot—then test it in thrilling one-on-one matches. \nThis special summer edition combines the best of both our beginner and advanced workshops. Students will not only learn the fundamentals of wiring\, motors\, and radio control but also explore CAD and 3D printing to design custom parts and upgrade their battle bots. \nWhether your student is brand new to combat robotics or ready to level up\, this workshop offers the perfect blend of challenge\, creativity\, and competition! \n\nWhat Students Will Do:\n\n\nBuild and wire a plastic antweight combat robot from the ground up \n\n\nLearn the basics of engineering\, electronics\, and safe tool use \n\n\nExplore CAD (computer-aided design) to create custom 3D-printed components \n\n\nPractice strategy\, design upgrades\, and test battles \n\n\nCompete in mock matches and take home their own battle bot! \n\n\n\n📅 Workshop Details:\n🗓 Dates: July 14th – July 17th 2025🕘 Time: 3 hours/day (1 pM – 4 PM)📍 Location: Edison Kids Innovation Center\, 9300 Normandy Blvd\, Suite 508\, Jacksonville\, FL 32221👥 Ages: 8–16💲 Cost: $650 (All materials included.
