Wind Power Workshop – Design, Build, and Power Up!
Join Edison Kids for a hands-on Wind Power Workshop where students explore the science of renewable energy and bring engineering to life! In this engaging 2-hour session, participants will dive into how wind energy is harnessed and converted into usable power—then put their knowledge to the test by designing and building a working wind-powered lift.
Students will work through the Engineering Design Process, just like a STEM Fair project—asking questions, imagining solutions, planning, building, testing, and improving their designs. This approach not only deepens understanding of wind energy but also develops critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
