In this 4-day intensive workshop, students will dive into the world of stop-motion animation as they plan, build, film, and edit their own mini movie projects. Using creative storytelling, hands-on building, and simple animation techniques, students will learn how everyday objects can become characters, scenes, and action on screen.

Whether your child loves LEGO, art, storytelling, or technology, this workshop gives them the chance to turn their ideas into motion and create something they are proud to share.

What Students Will Do

• Learn the basics of stop-motion animation
• Plan a short story or scene

• Add simple titles, sound, or editing touches
• Share their finished animation at the end of the week

What to Bring

A smartphone is recommended for recording animation, but it is not required. Students may also bring:

• A tablet or simple recording device if preferred
• A water bottle
• Any small props they would like to use, if desired

No prior animation experience is needed. This workshop is designed to introduce students to stop-motion in a fun, approachable way while still giving them the chance to create a polished final project.
