Design your own video game.

In this 4-day intensive workshop, students will learn how to code and build their own interactive games using Scratch. From characters and movement to scoring and sound effects, students will bring their ideas to life while learning the fundamentals of coding in a fun and engaging way.

By the end of the week, each student will have a fully playable game they designed themselves.

💻 What to Bring

Students must bring:
✔ Laptop (recommended) or tablet
✔ Charger
✔ Water bottle

• Learn the basics of coding using Scratch
• Create characters (sprites) and game environments
• Program movement, actions, and interactions
• Add scoring systems, levels, and challenges
• Incorporate sound effects and animations
• Play and test their own and others’ games

🏆 Final Project

Students will finish the week with a playable video game they created from scratch and can continue to improve at home.
