Intro to Digital Skills Workshop

Digital Skills Intensive Lab
Design. Organize. Present.
Kickstart Your Student’s Professional Edge!
Join us for an exciting 8-week hands-on digital workshop where homeschoolers learn how to design, organize, and present their ideas like real engineers and entrepreneurs. Beginning March 26th, students will build practical skills using Canva, Google Suite, and PowerPoint/Slides — tools they can use immediately in robotics, entrepreneurship, and beyond.
This workshop is built for middle and high school students who are ready to take their work to the next level. Whether they’re preparing for ERL portfolios, sponsor submissions, business ideas, or future interviews, this intensive equips them with the digital foundation professionals use every day.
Led by experienced mentors, students will work in a focused, high-energy environment where creativity meets clarity and ideas turn into polished, professional work.
Each session follows the Edison Engineering Design Process (E²DP):
Explore. Envision. Engineer. Execute. Evaluate. Explain.
Students won’t just learn software — they’ll learn how to think, structure ideas, support decisions with data, and communicate clearly.
This is more than a tech class. It’s a confidence-building experience that helps students realize they can present themselves and their ideas at a professional level.
